Last week saw three College Sport Finals to close out the summer. Kings College snuck past Mt Albert Grammar in a low-scoring thriller last Wednesday. Baradene College squared the ledger against Epsom Girls, winning the Premier Girls T20 title also on Wednesday. Pinehurst win Premier Golf Final
Pinehurst School took out the College Sport Auckland Premier Golf competition after defeating Macleans College in the final last Monday at Pakuranga Golf Club. On paper, the Pinehurst team were not expected to win. Macleans College are former national champions and their current team fields some of New Zealand’s best players. Despite this, Pinehurst won the match by two strokes to take the title for 2021. On Saturday 13 February, we held the 85th College Sport Auckland Head of the Harbour Rowing Regatta at Lake Pupuke with 940 students participating – an increase of nearly 90 students from the previous year.
