Our annual Sports Coordinators Meeting will be held on Wednesday 20 January 2021 at Alexandra Park. Schools have been sent a link to confirm their attendance by 4 December 2020. Monday 14 September: Following the Government’s decision that Auckland will remain at Alert Level 2.5 until at least Wednesday 23 September, College Sport Auckland have made the decision to cancel all remaining winter sports fixtures. With a maximum of four days of competition left, it is not viable for the winter sports season to continue. The College Sport Auckland Ski Championships on 21 September have also been cancelled – this event will not be rescheduled again. More than $5 million of Sport NZ’s new community fund available in Auckland

Applications are now open for Sport NZ’s new fund – Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa – for community-based programmes and projects targeting children and young people at most risk of missing out or being less active. $5,142,362 of the fund will be available in Auckland over the next twelve months, to be managed and distributed on Sport NZ’s behalf by Aktive, with support from partners CLM Community Sport, Harbour Sport, Sport Auckland and Sport Waitākere.
