Ultimate Senior Indoor Championships

Over two weekends in Term 2 Ultimate Frisbee teams took to the courts at Bruce Pulman Arena, the Open Division playing on 20th June and the Girls Division playing on the 4th July. With no wind, the indoor version of the sport allows athletes to use their full arsenal of throws. Ultimate Senior Outdoor Championships

Perfect weather with almost no wind greeted the 21 competing teams at the 2021 College Sport Auckland Senior Outdoor Ultimate Championships on Sunday at Bruce Pulman Park. Over 7 hours, teams from all over Auckland threw, hucked, dived for, and caught a 175gm plastic disc with skill, grace and enthusiasm. Juniors get into the spirit of Ultimate

The first ever College Sport Auckland Junior Ultimate Championships were held on Sunday 8 November with ten teams competing. Many of the traditionally stronger ultimate schools were represented and they were joined by Kelston Boys High School competing in their first ultimate competition. Indoor Ultimate Championships Wrap

Last weekend we saw a record of 37 teams take to the courts at Pulman Park Arena for the 2020 College Sport Auckland Indoor Ultimate Championships, making it the largest ultimate tournament ever held in New Zealand. The frisbee action moved indoors in Term 2 with the College Sport Auckland Indoor Ultimate Championships held at Pulman Arena. Eighteen teams from ten schools competed across the Open and Girls divisions with first-time entries from Birkenhead College and Rosmini College. The games were played in a fun, competitive atmosphere – as befits the self-refereed sport of Ultimate. Auckland Grammar win NZSS Ultimate Championships

College Sport Media: Auckland Grammar School won the Open Division at the annual NZSS Ultimate Championships held in Taupo. They won their final over Hutt Valley High School boys 12-10 in the tournament at Owen Delany Park last Monday and Tuesday. NZ Teams named for World Junior Ultimate Championships

New Zealand Ultimate is proud to announce the New Zealand teams that will compete at the World Junior Ultimate Championships to take place in Waterloo, Canada from 19-25 August 2018. New Zealand will be represented in both the Under 20 Men’s and Under 20 Women’s divisions. The teams have been selected out of the National Training Squad, a group of players who have been working with the national coaches with a series of camps in 2017 and early 2018.
