Cycling Points Race took place at Pukekohe Park in May, it was a great day to see all 250 riders out there from Junior to Senior! This was our 3rd event on the cycling calandar after starting our Team Time Trial series at the start of term 2. Cycling New Zealand: Baradene College took out the major girls honours in the team time trial on the opening day of the Cycling New Zealand School Road Championships in Manawatu. The 50th National School Road Cycling Championships were held last weekend in Manawatu. Almost 700 cyclists from 83 schools competed in the three-day event which included a team time trial, road race and points race. The Sir Bernard Fergusson trophy for the U20 Boys Team Time Trial was hotly contested this year, with five teams finishing within 30 seconds of each other.
