King’s College have won the inaugural Premier T20 Championship after a tense three-wicket win over Mt Albert Grammar on Saturday. Having won the toss, King’s gave their bowlers first use of a familiar home wicket. The first ever College Sport Auckland Junior Ultimate Championships were held on Sunday 8 November with ten teams competing. Many of the traditionally stronger ultimate schools were represented and they were joined by Kelston Boys High School competing in their first ultimate competition. The teams will not play in 2020 but selectors have named the sides to recognise the efforts of the secondary school players this season. Table Tennis taking off in Waitemata

New Zealand Community Trust has announced a grant of $146,000 towards construction costs for a new table tennis stadium. The funding will enable redevelopment and extension of the current Waitemata Table Tennis Association (WTTA) facility at Parrs Park, Glen Eden. The current stadium was built by volunteers in the 1970s and is well overdue for an upgrade. Issues included a lack of capacity, meeting only 40% of the Building Code, cement board cladding damage, and deterioration of the asbestos roof resulting in leaks.
