Volleyball Senior Championship 2022

The Volleyball Auckland Champs were held at Bruce Pulman Park, Takanini over 3 days last week under strict guidelines to keep within the Government’s limits at indoor venues.  We had 47 schools; 40 Girls team and 38 Boys teams from all over Auckland. Congratulations to Rangitoto College Girls taking the trophy for the 2nd year in a row. Orewa College took out the boys division first time since 2018, well done to all teams. Tennis Champion of Champions 2022

One hundred and twenty individuals and fifty-three doubles teams took part in the Champ of Champs Tennis Tournament. The tournament was played over four days at Scarbro Tennis Centre with students competing in junior, intermediate and senior doubles and singles matches. The James Aitkenhead Shields are awarded to the schools gaining the greatest number of points in the boys’ and girls’ competitions respectively.  2022 saw Westlake Boys High winning the boys shield with a total of 15 points and the girls shield shared between Saint Kentigern College and Kings College…
