Ritorya Tamilo from Baradene College of the Sacred Heart won the Young Sportswoman of the Year for Basketball and Jacob Avery from Sacred Heart College winning the Young Sportsman of the Year for Rowing at the Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards. The event was held at Eden Park with just over six hundred people in attendance.
