Senior A Girls teams were Takapuna Grammar and Northcote College, both of these teams had convincing wins in their semi finals and this match up was looking like a good one to watch. At the end of the 3rd quarter Takapuna had the lead and they were able to maintain this lead until the end of the match. Takapuna won 78-61. Both teams are now eligible for playoffs in 2023 for the Premier grade – Good luck to both teams.
Senior A Boys were St Peters College & Avondale College, again both teams had good wins in their semifinals and this game was going to be a tough one for both. Going into this St Peters College had a clean slate concerning wins and are they able to carry on with their clean slate. At the end of each quarter including the 4th quarter, the scores were very close and tied at the end of the 4th quarter to then go into overtime. With the score at the end of the 4th quarter 94 all, overtime was then applied, and St Peters College came out the victors with the score 104-99. Both teams are now eligible for playoffs in 2023 for the Premier grade – Good luck to both teams.
