Graham is an expert coach, leading 1st XV rugby, grade rugby, and volleyball teams to winning National titles. His coaching started at Mahurangi College with the 1st XI boys football team from 1984 – 1985. He then moved to Glenfield College from 1986 – 1995 where he looked after rugby 15s and 7s. From 1995 – 2001 he was the teacher in charge of rugby at Massey High school and coached a variety of their rugby teams, including appearances at National 7s tournaments. He moved to Rangitoto College in 2001 and continued to step up as a lead in their rugby programme and branched out to the school’s volleyball teams and organized various golf fundraising initiatives.
