Boston played for the Howick College Premier Mixed Touch team who finished as runners up in the College Sport Auckland Premier Mixed Grade . He was the captain and MVP for the Te Tai Tokerau U18 Mixed Touch team who were the National Champions. He played for the Thames Valley Open Men’s Touch team and was selected into the New Zealand U20 Trans-Tasman Mixed Touch team .
