We ran our annual Champions of Champions Tournament over a course of two days at Mertons Road Tennis Centre, where our top ranked players across Auckland played some quality Tennis. It was a busy week for secondary school tennis players with the Champ of Champs Tournament and the A1 and A2 finals being played at the Scarbro Tennis Centre. The tournament was played over four days at Scarbro Tennis Centre with students competing in junior, intermediate and senior doubles and singles matches. Today’s featured student has shown outstanding commitment to tennis, despite several set backs over the past year. Year 12 Baradene College student Elyse Tse struggled with a back injury last year, which meant she missed out on representing New Zealand on the international stage.
