On the 29th of November, we held our Junior Tag Champs at Cox Bay Reserve. We had 8 Boy’s and Girl’s teams participate. The Zone Days held earlier in the month determined what teams would make it through to the championship. In the Girls Final we had a very close game between Aorere and Westlake Girls where it ended up going to a drop off to find the winner and Aorere came out on top. The first ever College Sport Auckland Tag Football Season commenced yesterday for the South East Zone at Otahuhu College fields. This is a product of the continual growth in the zone tournaments over the last few years and is being piloted by College Sport Auckland and New Zealand Tag Football (NZTFI) with a restricted number of eight girls and eight boys teams.
