Rosmini College guard Kruz Perrott-Hunt has been called into the Tall Blacks 20-man training squad ahead of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers against Hong Kong and China later this month. On current growth trends, it will become the most popular in 2020. In 2017 a total of 25,649 secondary school students played basketball in a way deemed by the NZSSSC to be “meaningful engagement” in a school setting. Rosmini beat Rangitoto College 87-79 in the boys final at the Arena on Palmerston North on Saturday night, denying Rangitoto a second title in a row.
