On Thursday 25th August the Basketball finals for all grades was hosted at the Eventfinda Stadium, North Harbour. This is the first time since 2019 have been able to hold the College Sport Auckland Basketball Championship.
At this event we have 5 grades represented by 16 different schools competing for 5 titles.
The day started with the Junior Boys and Girls grade.
Junior Girls teams were Carmel College & Mt Albert Grammar, going into this match, Carmel had a very close win in the semi finals against Long Bay and Mt Albert had a good match up against Epsom Girls. Looking at the semi finals results, this game could be a great match up and, in the end, Carmel College won the game convincingly with the score being 30-15.
Junior Boys teams were Saint Kentigern & Auckland Grammar with both sides having good results the previous week in the semifinals. The final game was a win to Saint Kentigern with the result being 42-32.
