This year’s College Sport Auckland Triathlon Championships saw a field of over 200 participants compete in their respective teams and individual events.
The event was held at Point England Reserve for the second consecutive year with students competing in the U19, U16, U14 age groups in pleasant conditions for the swim, bike and run.
The Senior Boys age group saw Callum Hockey from Rangitoto College take out the title for the second year in a row, with an overall time of 53:32. It was a close battle between the top three Senior Girls competitors, all who finished within one second of each other. Zara Jancys from Saint Kentigern College got over the finish line 1st with a time of 1:07, just 21 seconds in front of 2nd placed Georgia Hair from Diocesan College.
