Four records broken at first athletics zone meet

The Central Western Zone Athletics meet was held yesterday at Trusts Arena in Henderson. In hot and sunny conditions, four College Sport Auckland records were broken throughout the day. One of the first field events of the day was the Intermediate Boys High Jump. The College Sport Auckland Senior Softball One Day Tournament was held yesterday at Rosedale Park. Three Mt Albert Grammar School teams made the finals, with Mt Albert girls playing against One Tree Hill College and their Blue and Gold teams battling for the boys title. Basketball the big mover in School Sport NZ Census

School Sport NZ: While the top 10 sports in terms of students representing their school remains unchanged from 2017, the School Sport NZ Census released last week shows that Basketball continued its growth in the sector to now be the second most popular sport in our secondary schools.
