Elyse was the captain of the Baradene Premier Tennis team who placed 2nd at the College Sport Auckland Premier Tennis Competition after making their first ever finals appearance. She won the Senior Girls Singles and Doubles at the College Sport Auckland Champion of Champions. Elyse won the Junior Girls Doubles at the Christchurch and Wellington events of the Junior ITF World Tennis Tour. At the National Championships Elyse won the U18 Girls Doubles. Elyse was selected to represent New Zealand at the Oceania Regional Championships, selected to play in the Junior Fed Cup team for New Zealand, and was named the 2020/21 Tennis Northern Junior Girl Player of the Year.
