Cody competed at the College Sport Auckland Head of Harbour Regatta, finishing 1st in the U18 pair, U18 Double, U18 Four and U18 Eight. At the NISS Championships, he finished 1st in the U18 Pair, U18 Four and U18 Eight. At the NZSS MAADI Cup, he finished 2nd in the U18 Eight, recorded the 2nd fastest times in the history of the MAADI Cup to win the U18 Pair and U18 Four, and was selected into the New Zealand U19 Junior Eight.
