ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
The school caters for a wide range of levels across both girls and boys and looks to develop players during their journey at the school.
With a wealth of Rugby knowledgeable and passionate staff who take on coaching and management roles within the sport, we also continuously work to strengthen our relationship within the wider rugby community.
HEAD COACH ROLES:
Rangitoto College are now calling for applications for:
– 1st XV rugby team
– Girls Premier Rugby team
The school is seeking applicants who are passionate about school rugby and growth of the players. You must be a well organised, a community minded leader with the ability to create a team culture that runs across the team and brings out the best in its players and the school.
The ideal candidate must be able to lead and direct a team based on a game plan that suits the player base and competition. In addition, you must be a person who strives for the development of players and is committed to coaching the team to do the same.
Holding a level 2 coaching certificate or higher is preferable but not essential.
APPLICATIONS:
Please supply a cover letter and 1 page C.V. for the Boys 1st XV or Girls Premier team.
Your cover letter should Include a clear statement of your vision for meeting the desired requirements along with your past coaching/rugby experience with your references.

• How many years’ experience do you have as a Rugby Coach?
• What coaching qualification level do you hold?
• What is your coaching philosophy?
• What resources do you use to support player development?

OTHER DETAILS:
An appropriate remuneration package is on offer for the right person for the various roles.
The successful applicants will have the support of a strong support team from the Director of Rugby, Teacher in Charge & Sports coordinator, S&C coach, and assistant coaches.
