Botany Downs Secondary College (BDSC) are seeking expressions of interest from passionate and motivated coaches, who are experienced in playing/coaching netball.
This may suit university students, who wish to develop their coaching portfolio.
We require coaches specifically for our 9A, 10A and Senior A-C teams.
As a BDSC coach we would require you to:
Attend trials and help select teams (Mid Term 1)
Plan and deliver weekly training sessions (from the end of Term 1, through Term 2 and 3). Attend all Saturday games at Auckland Netball Centre during Term 2 and 3.
The successful candidates will need to undergo police vetting. Remuneration will be discussed.

ACG Parnell is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and motivated coaches, who have experience in playing and/or coaching netball, to lead our netball teams in 2025. This consists of the following time commitment:
Deliver at least two trial sessions to select the team in mid Term 1
Deliver a minimum of 1 training per week, beginning late Term 1
Attend weekly Saturday fixtures during Term 2 and Term 3
This will be a paid position, with an hourly rate to be discussed with the right candidates.

Selwyn College is a co-educational school with an extensive sports programme, catering for students from year 9 to 13.
A suitably qualified coach is being sought to lead our Girls Lacrosse team. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with high school players and be passionate about developing athletes. Additionally, the below is expected:
• Deliver at least one training per week, on-site at school. Training dates and times are to be confirmed by the coach subject to their availability.
• Attend all games held on a Thursday afternoon (normally 4 pm or later in Terms 2 and 3.)
• Provide guidance to the wider Lacrosse program and mentoring other coaches.

• A strong knowledge of rugby through playing and/or coaching (experience in coaching teenagers is preferable)

Mount Albert Grammar School is looking for a suitable and qualified person to be the head coach of our Premier Netball Team in 2025. Netball has had a strong history at the school where a number of former students have gone on to play for ANZ Franchises and Silver Ferns as well as various international teams. The Premier Netball Team regularly competes in the Auckland Secondary Schools Premier Secondary Schools Competition, Auckland Club, UNISS and the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships.

• Preparing the team in trainings, camps, establish Individual & team goals to play in competition.
• Plan the season which includes a focus on individual skills and team tactical variety and development.
• Effectively builds and maintains long term networks and relationships i.e. Director of Netball, Director of Sports.
• Liaising with the sports department on any team updates and organisational needs.
• Working within the school and competitions rules and regulations
The suitable person should have the following:
• Inspire our students to drive their own development and pathway.
• A strong knowledge of netball through playing and/or coaching experience.
• An ability to relate to teenagers

The successful candidate will need to commitment to at least 2 or 3 trainings a week starting in January 2025. Planning for the season in December 2024. The coach also will need to be available for all pre-season and competition games starting in April. The coach should also be available for the UNISS Regionals in September, Secondary School Nationals being held in October.

2025 1st XI Baradene Hockey Coach
Baradene College of the Sacred Heart is a high performing independent Catholic girls school, located in Auckland, with an outstanding reputation for excellence in academic, art, sports and cultural pursuits.
Hockey is a popular sport at the College. We have 14 teams ranging in age levels and ability and our new turf facility on site will attract players to the College.
We are looking for a qualified hockey coach for our 1st XI team for the 2025 season, with a proven record of success and who will ensure our girls reach their full potential.
Our ideal candidate will have experience coaching at a high level, excellent technical, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Hours are variable, but it is expected that the commitment would be approximately 4-5 hours per week. It requires attendance at trainings (2 per week), weekly games, pre-season sessions, trials and attending winter tournament week with the team.
Commitment to the special character of the school and adherence to contractual obligations are required.

Carmel College on Auckland’s North Shore is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coach for our Premier Netball Team. Carmel College currently manages a busy Netball programme for approximately 300 girls at various levels of ability in years 7-13.
The appointee directly contributes to all areas of coaching, including trials, skill development and culture.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Director of Sport and Sports Coordinator to ensure a professional and consistent approach to the Carmel College programmes and services, supporting the philosophy of athlete development for all ages, from beginners to elite competitors. This position also has a responsibility for mentoring and educating young Netball players.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have a proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment. The successful applicant will be motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.
Proven track record in working with other teams would be an advantage, as would qualifications in sports coaching/management.

This is a newly created role, and we are seeking a motivated and energetic Rugby Development Officer to join our team and work alongside our Director of Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about rugby and coaching, has excellent organisational and administrative skills who is ready to make a real impact in the rugby community.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Oversee Co-coach the 2nd XV and U14/15 Rugby Squads
• Assist the Director of Rugby with talent ID in grade teams
• Coach/ assist with grade sides training sessions where needed throughout the week
• Oversee all Rugby fixtures throughout the entire school – setting up fields/Communications
• Assist with fund raising initiatives and help organise tours
• Ensure equipment is purchased and maintained
• Ensure results from weekend matches and notices are given to the DOS and communications manager - send to Director of Sport on Saturday
• Allocate pitches for matches on weekends
• Organise field set up and pack down on Saturdays
• Liaise with opposition schools, Saturday game logistics at SHC and liaise with Sports Administrator
• Run the 1st XV after match functions at SHC with 1st XV Manager
• Organise the annual ‘weigh in’ and formulate a player data base alongside the Director of Sport, Sports Administrator and Director of Rugby
• Organise Rugby Smart and coaching modules for Grade Coaches
• Organise the annual Rugby prize giving and awards ceremony alongside the Director of Sport, Sports Administrator and Director of Rugby
• Assist and help organise trials and pre-season training for grade teams
• Attend key grade rugby tournaments such as AIMS Games
• Attend Rugby 7’s tournaments

This is a contract to service position, covering 25 hours per week across 39 weeks of the school year. Presence at matches on weekends and coaching after school are essential elements of the role.

We are in search of a committed, flexible, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable umpire for our Hockey First XI Boys team in 2025.
Pinehurst Senior Boys came first in the A1 grade at North Harbour in 2024 and are hoping for another great season going into next year.
Umpires are expected to attend every game for the entire season, between May and September.
Physical fitness, knowledge of the game and flexibility are vital as the matches can become quite rough at times and are played any time from 3.30pm-8pm on Wednesdays. Each game is 1 hour long.
Payment will be for each game, at a rate of $30 per game.
