North Shore Times:
Cuts to the Auckland secondary school cricket competition this season forced four first XIs out of the premier grade, but one Shore school has won their way back to the top tier and another could join them.
Takapuna Grammar School and Rangitoto College were among the schools that dropped out of the premier competition, down to 1A, after changes to the structure of the schools’ competition.
So it was some consolation for the two teams to find themselves in the 1A limited overs final on April 1, fighting for the right to be promoted straight back up to the premier grade.
