AucklandNOW: Auckland’s Diocesan School for Girls has picked up back-to-back Maadi titles, becoming the first North Island female crew in 27 years to do so. Dio claimed the Levin 75th Jubilee Cup – awarded to the winners of the under-18 eight 2000 metre race – at Lake Karapiro on Saturday, securing the title by three quarters of a boat length. Takapuna Grammar cricketers return to the top competition for 2018
North Shore Times: Cuts to the Auckland secondary school cricket competition this season forced four first XIs out of the premier grade, but one Shore school has won their way back to the top tier and another could join them.
