NISS SPORT CONFERENCE - LAST DAY TO REGISTER !!!

The inaugural North Island Secondary School Sport Conference in Rotorua, 10 – 12 June, this year combines the traditional Activate (Northern) and Hurricanes region conferences into one high quality professional development opportunity for secondary school sport co-ordinators and sport directors.

We are grateful to SportNZ and First Sovereign for their support enabling the registration cost to be kept at $50 per delegate. This includes a contribution to the provision of all workshops, the conference opening dinner at the Skyline Restaurant; return bus transport from your region to Rotorua (see below) and venue costs including lunches, morning and afternoon teas

Delegates will be responsible for their own accommodation costs, as well as breakfasts and dinner on Monday night. A range of hotel options from around $60 (twin share) per person per night have been negotiated to allow you to fit your tastes and your budget. These hotel options are available when you register and choices will be allocated in order fo registrations received so be in early to get your first choice

Buses will be travelling to the conference from different venues around the North Island, simply nominate your pick up point from the options on the registration form and your RSD will notify you of when and where to be waiting with your bags!. The bus will have you arriving at the conference in time to check in to your hotel and moving on for the conference opening dinner, Gondola and Luge ride at Skyline. Some regions have indicated that they will be travelling under their own steam so make sure you are there by 6pm on the Sunday evening so you don’t miss all the fun.

Registrations are now open on line at http://theorganiser.co.nz/registration/nissc2012/ and as part of that you need to select:

1. Your workshop options – there is a short descriptor for each workshop on-line.
2. Your accommodation option
3. Your transport option

Please note registrations close on Friday 1st June, 2012.
